On Sunday, May 6th, Holy Mother of God recognized our beloved God parents and God children with
commemorative martyrika (baptismal witness pins) marking God Parents' Sunday. Thank you to everyone who
made it a priority to share the beautiful experience of receiving Holy Communion along side their God children
and God parents.
We also enjoyed special recognition for our Sunday School children to mark Sunday School Graduation
and, further, acknowledged all of our High School graduates as they begin exciting new chapters in their
lives. Finally, our entire community was treated to a delicious hot dog and burger BBQ—yum!,— face
painting, a water balloon toss and playground fun. Check out the kids as they descend upon Fr. Alex with
all those water guns!
