In mid-February 2008, Holy Mother of God was honored to host Fr. Peter Gillquist. Following up on last year's amazing time with Fr. Stanley Harakas, our OCF ministry once again engaged a vital, renowned theologian for its spring seminar. Fr. Peter Gilquist, a priest of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese, is the author of numerous books, including Love Is Now, The Physical Side of Being Spiritual, and Becoming Orthodox. He is also project director of the Orthodox Study Bible. Fr. Gillquist spent an entire weekend with us here in Tallahassee, speaking privately with the OCF group, joining us for Divine Liturgy and a Church luncheon and speaking to a large and diverse audience at FSU. This was yet another rare opportunity for our parishioners to engage with a world-class Orthodox theologian and a powerful way to begin the Lenten season!
