Fireflies is a new ministry of our parish—the purpose is to bring our entire parish together, mid-week, once-per-month, for a community dinner, Philoptochos meeting, youth events and dynamic guest speakers. Our vibrant ministries are a warm, glowing light in the dark of the night! Our December's Fireflies event saw JOY and GOY activities and brought Sarah Taylor of Bevis Funeral Home to our Church. Ms. Taylor presented information that is useful for everyone, and it is always powerful to come together during the week. The Liturgy is not just lived on Sundays, but should invigorate and direct our lives each and every day.
