December 9th was a busy day at Holy Mother of God. First, our youth presented a touching Nativity program to remind us all how to keep focused on the real gifts during this beautiful season. Immediately following Divine Liturgy, our OCF ministry treated the entire parish to a delicious pancake breakfast—yum!—to mark the end of their very-successful Toy Drive. As if we didn't have enough good food in our stomachs, GOYA also hosted a delicious bake sale and used the funds to spread Christmas cheer to the needy around Tallahassee. Finally, the United States Marine Corps made a dramatic appearance to come and pick up ALL of those beautiful toys we collected. This was an incredible day—filled with vitality, generosity and much love!
