On the menu is an "all-you-can eat" bounty of spaghetti with meat or veggie sauce, roll, salad, tea and coffee. Before you leave, don't forget to pick up some delicious desserts for friends, family, co-workers--and you!
Gift certificates for friends and family are now available. Just ask one of our friendly greeters, and they'll take care of you. The Church office may be contacted for directions, questions and further details: 878-0747. See you soon, and bring a friend for spaghetti in May.
Holy Mother of God Choir invites you to join! — Sunday, May 31, 2009
Holy Mother of God Choir invites you to join and help lead our worship services!
One of the most critical ministries of our Church is our parish choir--along with the clergy, our choir members actually lead our parishioners in song each Sunday. And these are not just songs; they are ancient, holy and meaningful hymns aimed at giving praise to our Lord, and uplifting the hearts of the faithful. Don't no Greek or read music? No problem--many of our hymns are done in English, and Greek texts are available in phonetics ... plus, reading music can be learned "as you go." The choir practices weekly (please refer to the "Calendar" page as well as "Reflections"), and interested parishioners, friends and visitors will be warmly greeted and invited.
Need more information before you "try us out"? Please contact Fr. Rob or Joann Myers (director). They'll be happy to answer any questions.
